School of Rock is Andrew Lloyd Webber’s acclaimed, award‑winning stage musical, inspired by the much‑loved film of the same name.
The story centres on Dewey Finn, a down‑on‑his‑luck, would‑be rock legend who winds up impersonating a substitute teacher at an elite prep school. Instead of sticking to the curriculum, he discovers a class of high‑achieving students with untapped musical talent and transforms them into a high‑voltage rock band. The young cast perform their instruments live on stage, filling the theatre with incredible energy and show‑stopping talent night after night.
After debuting on Broadway, the production went on to enjoy a successful run in London’s West End, followed by major tours across both the UK and the US.
With its infectious score and unstoppable spirit, School of Rock proves that school is officially back in session—permanently!
